Kourtney Blackburn

Kourtney Blackburn

Kourtney Blackburn is the Head of Access Services at St. John Fisher College's Lavery Library in Rochester, NY. Kourtney has presented at several conferences including the IDS Project Annual Conference and the Access Services Conference on topics related to user services and resource sharing. In 2015 and 2016, Kourtney and Kate Ross were awarded grants that allow them to work with the IDS Project on strengthening NYS coordinated collection development through ILL, as well as integrate Purchase on Demand into NYS coordinated collection development efforts. Tom Bruno

Tom Bruno

Tom Bruno is Adjunct Assistant Curator for Access, Delivery & Resource Sharing Services at the NYU Division of Libraries. He has worked in resource sharing for over 15 years and was the 2015/16 Chair of ALA RUSA STARS. Tom has written and presented about many topics in interlibrary loan, including best practices in ILL Lending and Borrowing, international ILL, scan on demand services, assessment and continuous improvement of resource sharing workflows, combining ILL and reserves operations, and how to be an effective cheerleader for change. Megan Gaffney

Megan Gaffney

Megan Gaffney is Associate Librarian and Coordinator of Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services at the University of Delaware Library. She has presented and published articles on topics including institutional repositories, usability in interlibrary loan, interdepartmental collaboration, and the impact of discovery layers on resource sharing. Megan is an active member of RUSA STARS and is part of the working group developing the OCLC Research Library Partnership’s ILL Cost Calculator. She earned her M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is working on a master's degree in Spanish literature at the University of Delaware. Bill Jones

Bill Jones

Bill Jones is the Digital Resources & Systems Librarian at SUNY Geneseo Milne Library and serves as the ALA RUSA STARS Webmaster, ALA RUSA STARS Executive Board Member, and ALA RUSA STARS Promotion & Outreach Committee Member. From 2010-2017, Bill has contributed to the IDS Project through web development, software development, research, publishing, training, hands-on support, marketing, and administration. His professional interests include user experience, resource sharing automation, web development, publishing in libraries, and broadening discovery and access to library resources. Cindy Kristof

Cindy Kristof

Cindy Kristof is Head of Copyright and Document Services and Associate Professor at Kent State University Libraries. She manages the Copyright Services, Interlibrary Loan, Reserve Services, and Institutional Repository operations and serves as the Kent State University site administrator for the OhioLINK ETD Center. She has worked with Interlibrary Loan for over 25 years. She assists colleagues, faculty, and students with their copyright questions, assists in obtaining copyright permissions and licensing, and regularly presents on copyright basics to groups on and off campus. She contributed a chapter titled, “U.S. Copyright and Interlibrary Loan Practice” to the third edition of the Interlibrary Loan Practices Handbook published by the American Library Association. Micquel Little

Micquel is the Director of User Services and Resource Sharing for the Claremont Colleges Library located in Claremont, California. Micquel began working with the IDS Project when she worked as Access Services Librarian at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY beginning in August 2010. Lars Leon

Lars Leon

Lars is the Resource Sharing Librarian and Head of Organizational Development at the University of Kansas Libraries. He continues to be involved with resource sharing as he collaborates with other leaders in the newly combined Acquisitions and Resource Sharing Department. He also helps provide and support others in a variety of library staff and organization development needs. He has presented and published with key outputs in the areas of individual and group best practices; resource sharing costs; how our patrons value our services; and uses of data. He enjoys teasing out data but realizes it is only there to assist us in making decisions. It really does come back to people and the amazing things we all do together in resource sharing. Kate Ross

Kate Ross

Kate Ross is the Head of Technical Services/Acquisitions Librarian at St. John Fisher College's Lavery Library in Rochester, NY. Since Kate was responsible for Interlibrary Loan in previous positions, she seeks out opportunities to work with Kourtney and other Interlibrary Loan practitioners and learn more about ILL tools in order to increase student and faculty access to information, whether owned by Lavery Library or borrowed from your Library! She has shared a series of projects on the intersection of Acquisitions and ILL at local, regional and national conferences such as IDS Project Annual Conference, OVGTSL, and the Charleston Conference. Chris Sisak

Chris Sisak

Chris Sisak is the Director of ILL/Serials at Lorette Wilmot Library at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. Chris has been involved in interlibrary loan for over 20 years and has been an instrumental member of the IDS Project since its conception over 10 years ago. Chris has presented at many conferences and is active in advocating for innovative best practices for the added value to our patrons. Chris is an artist at heart, displaying her works in Rochester venues as well as having won several awards!
