Not in New York? Interested in Becoming an IDS Project Member?

The IDS Project has been a New York only consortium since its inception in 2004. While IDS has focused on expanding within New York, it has still managed to offer many free tools to the larger community. This year we plan to begin a new phase, offering IDS membership to libraries outside of New York. Pilot Members will have full membership rights and access to all of the IDS Project’s tools and services. The six-month pilot will begin on May 5th and run until October 31st, 2014. We currently have six institutions from five states and the District of Columbia joining us.

Assignment of IDS Mentors will begin in the next few weeks and Mentor Sessions will be scheduled after May 5th. Following the sessions with your Mentor, IDS Logic will be installed into your ILLiad system by the IDS Logic Support Group. IDS Logic will have two modules activated: Lending Availability Service and ALIAS. During the following weeks, the Mentors and the IDS Logic Support Group will be helping you customize your ILLiad system for best performance.
